7th Wedding Anniversary

So, if you've been paying attention, you would know that my 7th wedding anniversary was last week. That's right, folks - the Meister has been enslaved for 7 years!

To celebrate this joyous occasion, I created another video for your amusement.



As with before, some notes

1) Again, if you listened to the video, my apologies (and condolences) for the assault upon your ears.

2) I should also give you warning that this video contains almost more sugar than humanly bearable. Definitely not for the diabetic of faint of stomach. But then, hey, it is my wedding anniversary.

3) The song is I'm Yours by Jason Mraz - another difficult song to sing (to be fair, the main reason for that is because I can't sing). In some ways, its easier than Bad Day while more difficult in others. Although the pitch of this song is also high, it doesn't vary as much which makes it easier to maintain the pitch. However, the strange pacing of the lyrics makes it difficult to sing unless you are extremely familiar with the song.

4) The song itself is a lovely song with some nice lyrics. If it sounds familiar, its because it has currently been in the US Top 100 billboard for a record breaking 70+ weeks. I really recommend you check out the original Jason Mraz version here (or here for a live rendition)

Some random videos

Recently, I took a couple of videos at home and uploaded them onto You Tube without any editing. You can see them below.

The first video is a video of Gordon doing some exercise. We started him off on doing bicycle reps and then moved to pushups and the butterfly. However, he didn't seem to like doing the butterfly much so we had to go back to doing more pushups.

In the next video, you can see Gerry practicing for a future appearance in a concert. The song he is practicing is called Shake Your Body and comes from a demo DVD for one of those English learning program thingamijigs. You can see he knows the chorus really well.

Although the video is quite long, I just couldn't bring myself to edit it considering how cute his voice is. :)

Some notes:

2) In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have chosen Bad Day by Daniel Powter. I'm more of a bass/baritone myself and this song is just a bit too high in tone for me. You can tell that I'm really struggling.
3) The reason I did choose this song is because of the message of hope and love despite all the shit that happens (eg dirty nappy changing, lack of sleep, time spent in hospital, lack of time playing video games! etc.)
4) If you have never heard this song before and don't understand point 3 above, then I highly recommend you go watch the music video. Its a beautiful song and you can find the music video here.

Espana - el video

As you know, I recently went to Spain. While there, I took a lot of video. At least, I thought I did. When I finally sat down to edit the video into something watchable, I realised that I didn't actually have as much footage as I thought I did.

Anyway, despite the fact that I didn't have enough footage, I'm still quite happy with the overall results. Or maybe I'm just biased considering the number of hours I put into editing this!

HTC TyTN II

I recently mentioned that I was in the market for a new phone. It's time to retract that statement as it is no longer true - the main reason being that I now have a new phone!
